When we have the blind leading the blind and more blind people following the leader it’s tough to convince them of common sense or reality.

Wind mills and solar panels are made from petroleum products. And can you imagine our world today without computers and cell phones? Both which are from petroleum products. I don’t think the brains behind all of this, or the lack there of, are functioning properly.

Let alone the medical products.
Auto mobile products/plastic parts.
Clothes.

It would seem it is an endless list.

More research into reusing what we have. For example, cooking oil that is used in the fast food fryers, is now being used in diesel engines, as opposed to .............Motor oil that is taken out, find a better use for it. We are not ready to use that many electric cars, the grids collapse in the summer time without them. Houses are being wired to recharge a car, but the wire to the house is the same, and overheats, burning down the house. We all have places we know that flood, here in Louisiana, it happens a lot. What do you think will happen when the flood waters get inside the charging station?

Solar n wind is like some other items. There are those that think it's a great idea as long as it's not near them. The panels take up so much ground so we complain. Turbines are ugly n make too much noise n they kill birds. I'm repeating what I read. Just read a halt has been put on Turbines in the Ocean till the do more studies on the effects they have on ocean life. Nuclear plants are being shut down. If your in a location that doesn't have business with solar you have no idea how many panels are required for one small business. If it takes two hrs to recharge a car how long will big rigs take n the amount of charging stations would be required. I had natural gas for yrs n I luv it. Also consider the cost of maintaining n electric vehicle. Unless the price of batteries come down think what replacement cost will be. The amount of batteries going into landfills. The amount of people that would be out of work. I also remember reading about people complaining when some states started changing electric owners a fee because they was losing money in gas tax. You can butter your bread on both sides but it makes a mess. Reality is the US alone isn't going to save the planet. What would happen to the countries that produce all the crude. Is America going to send aide to support their population.?. At the rate the population is growing n every day more developments n massive warehouse sites. Does anyone realize that wouldn’t happen with petroleum. Think about it. All farming n construction equipment total electric. No petroleum no plastic for wiring n conduit to run it thru. No water or sewer lines as mentioned no asphalt for highways parking lots driveways. Imagine the logging industry going total electric. It's easy to come up with the perfect solution to the problem if you have tunnel vision.

One 42-gallon barrel of oil creates 19.4 gallons of gasoline. The rest (over half) is used to make thousands of other products. Although the major use of petroleum is as a fuel, (gasoline, jet fuel, heating oil), and petroleum and natural gas are often used to generate electricity, there are many other uses. Example…. All plastic is made from petroleum and plastic is used almost everywhere.

Asphalt used in road construction is a petroleum product as is the synthetic rubber in the tires. Paraffin wax comes from petroleum, as do fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, detergents, phonograph records, photographic film, furniture, packaging materials, surfboards, paints, and artificial fibers used in clothing, upholstery, and carpet backing. Individual Americans, on average, consume petroleum products at a rate of three-and-a-half gallons of oil and more than 250 cubic feet of natural gas per day each!

Just think if they crush the logging n farming no paper no corn cobs. No weedkiller be careful using grass wipes. Thistles n poison ivy may require creams that are no longer available 🥴🥴

Like the pebbles in a pond. Once dropped it doesn't stop with one or two ripples. Not every good intention ends with good results. Common sense should be a required class in schools n colleges n the BIG house. 👍👍
