Just moved here from Chesapeake Bay Maryland to Charlotte North Carolina. I'm living on Mountain Island Lake and trying to figure this Fishery out. Game fish are my objective. Perch, stripers, bass, crappie,. Any suggestions help would be appreciated if you know anything that might help me.

I live in southeastern Virginia and those are the lakes that I know best in North Carolina. Up in Boone is the Smokey Mountains and the southern Blue Ridge mountains where there are Trout and Smallmouth Bass. Over east is Lake Mattamuskeet and in your area try Falls Lake.

Thanks for the speedy reply. my son lives here and he suggested heading up that way also for better fishing. I'll check your suggestions out on the map to get my bearings.
