Went out last night with my neighbor to fish under the pier lights along the Wolf Bay shore. I had my pacemaker replaced about ten days ago and planned on just watching him. He got a small spec on the first cast and three or four on the next ten or so casts. I couldn’t stand it and since he had a second rod rigged to tempt me I had to join in.
The night was cool and calm; one of those nights where you could hear everything folks were saying all the way across the bay (on nights like that be careful what you say). We must have caught twenty-five in about an hour and half. Only two were keepers and we released those.
A great night with a good neighbor.

Thanks for sharing a good story, I enjoyed it along with others. I could see myself there and that is a good thing. It must not have been windy.

Sounds like a great evening WB. With that excitement I’d assume the pacemaker was silent.
Was a good test for the pacemaker.

Dang I need to get down there.
What was yall using for bait.
Fishing with a good friend is hard to beat
Don’t know the name but was a small jig with a minnow body. He used gray and I used chartreuse. Found we got most bits on the edge of the light instead of right under. I don’t think the color mattered.
Was going again last night but was tired and wind gave a good excuse for staying in. Now days seems like the day following a late night makes me get really tired.
Out in the quiet of nite ,fishing and catching with a friend ,,,,, excellent time ,Thanks for sharing Wolfbay!👍🤙
