You must have to tear all of the fringe furniture away from the bed in order to make it. Cool, but not for me, I make the bed.

I bought a drift sock and used it once, and then decided that life was too short to do that.
Always fun trying to put one made for older beds on the newer 15in deep ones, lol.

use one when anchored in fast water takes some of the swing out of the boat
Ever wonder why we picture ghosts as having a sheet over them?
Ghosts are people who died trying to fold a fitted sheet.
...Now imagine a ghost that's wearing a fitted sheet instead of a flat one!
Just to address the subject of this thread, Casper beds:
I'm not sure, but I think that the Casper mattress is similar to the mattress I bought. It's memory foam, it arrived compressed way down and rolled up in a box. You unroll it out on the box spring and cut the plastic that's keeping it compressed by atmospheric pressure, and within a few minutes it's a full sized mattress.
Well, it was super comfortable - at first. (Mind you, we each have our own "comfortable". Some of us are most comfortable on a really firm bed, some folks like a billowy soft cloud. When I was young, I thought that a carpeted floor was just right. Things change, that doesn't work for me any more!)
Here's the thing: That memory foam doesn't 'breathe'. After awhile I'd start feeling prickly where I was in contact with the mattress, and roll over. So all night it was like I was on a rotisserie, rolling over every 20 minutes. I got a fluffy mattress pad and put on it, that helped a lot. Finally, I wound up with TWO mattress pads on it so that enough air could circulate under me. I'm getting along with it fine, now.
Years ago, I had the same kind of experience with a water bed. You KNOW that a vinyl bag full of water won't breathe! Now some folks won't have the kind of experience that I did, I had a raging high metabolism. That means that my body was constantly burning off the food I'd eaten and turning it into heat instead of storing it as fat. It didn't take much to keep me warm. Let's just say that an electric blanket with dual controls was necessary for my relationship with my Wife!
I think that if you can sleep well with a rubber or vinyl sheet on the mattress under your bedsheet, you'll get along fine with memory foam. If that makes you feel prickly underneath, then memory foam will likely do the same thing for you.
If you look on Craigslist under "Free stuff", you'll see quite a few memory foam mattresses being given away. I think that's a clue ! So by all means, proceed - but proceed with caution!
