Sounds like my day, yesterday. Cut up a large round for stools to sit on around the fire. Decided to sand and put a seal on them. Went to start generator, no go. Emptied fuel, cleaned spart plug and set gap, cleaned exhaust port. Fresh fuel. Wham started right up and runs like a charm, only no output, two hours later, I'm still baffled. It's hardly had any use, run it monthly for 15 minutes, usually purrs. Decided to sharpen my chain on the chainsaw, forgot I had it set for a standard chain (X-cut are 80 degrees vs 55. Sharpened one side and notice the angle wasn't right, so I had to resharpen. Oh well.
