Good mornin', Fred. Today is your last day, congrats man. Now what? Are you going to get a retirement job a couple of days a week? When I retired, I thought, for the last time, I soon had to find something to do. So, went to work for the DNR for 2 days a week. It was outside/inside work and I set my own time, day, and whatever. If I wanted to go to AK. for a couple of weeks, I went. I worked from 4/1 until 11/1. If I wanted to go South for the Winter, I went. It was great. I retired after 11 years and Marion got her lung cancer so I had to stay home and take care of her.
Enjoy retirement, buddy.

Good morning Fly, and thank you my friend. Taking the Summer off completely, and start preparing to move next year. The shop is begging me to work a couple days a week, as a couple other retirees have ,and are doing . I told them it's a possibility in the Fall, we will see. Gonna enjoy the 7 day weekends for now.

Good plan Fred taking the summer completely off. Give your mind relax time from making those work decisions.

Good plan Fred and congratulations on your first retirementπ.When I retired I already had another job fishing for 5 months out of the year. Now I have a part time job at the elk ranch here and I can work as much or as little as I want. Typically itβs 50 to 60 hours a week but Iβm my own boss and I enjoy everything I do there. Iβm only 67 so itβs a little too early to βretireβ for me. Just a change of pace more often now. Getting ready to help my boys with their new saw mill and itβs going gangbusters with the ridiculous cost of lumber now days.

Hey Fred, i hear you are going out with a bang. Read fake news # 16 when you have a moment.
You will now be what is known as a fair weather fisherman. Good weather, mid week, less pressure. Of course we will now expect to see stringers full of fish. No excuses. πππ Congratulations.
