Hello, I retired 2 years ago purchased a camper and a new boat, I'm thinking about camping and fishing the Saginaw Bay area. Anybody have advise where is a good place to camp and have access to the Bay for fishing. I have fished the bay last year and the fishing was great every time I fished. When fishing I use crawler harness but thinking about switching to lures, maybe bigger fish and less garbage fish. So any advise will help.

Hi MarkMark, there is a state park in Tawas right on the bay. It's the outer bay but plenty of good fishing. It's also not too far to Charity Islands if you have a bigger boat.

Yes. I don't know the name of that park though. There is great fishing in the entire bay. Enjoy your stay!
