What kind of surf fishing rigs is everyone using? Tried sand fleas on a bottom rig but never real hits ..

Also going to fish the inlet, I use acme silver spoon and usually get a lot of blues.

Fishing the inlet is a challenge because of the strong current and the fact that the bottom is scoured out rock. Of a bait rig touches bottom its pretty much going to stay there if you don't get a bite. Try casting bucktails with a 6 or 7 inch swim shad in you favorite colors. If you want to fish bait outside of the inlet fleas will work sometimes but you're probably better off using bunker chunks. Old Inlet bait shop is right there by the bridge. They may have some mire suggestions.
