I have an itch to by a Beretta here in middle Tn. Just wondering if anyone knows of a good place to purchase a new or used Beretta. I am looking at the 92FS.... There are so many options with the Beretta 9mm. Any help is appreciated.

Can't help you with where to buy it but know that it, along with the 96 ,40cal, is a great gun. 🙂👍

The 9mm won't have the knockdown power compared to a 40 or 45 cal.

Look on GunBroker. It will show you the general price range snd you might even find a deal on one. You will have to figure in the shipping and/or transfer fees. Then go shopping. A lot of the major sporting goods stores will be having a spring sale shortly.

Go to a shop that rents guns and try it on for size. Give it a test drive. I have small hands and short fingers. If I gripped the 92F properly I could not wrap my index finger around the trigger. To get proper trigger finger placement I had to shift the gun in my hand. The ball of my thumb was actually on the side of the grip. Make sure it fits before you spend the money.

I was in my local sporting goods ( N. California ) and they were all out of 9mm and 40 cal was cheaper and plenty of it ? Don't know if this is a trend or just one store ?

Lots of 9mm on shelves around here. Sportsman Warehouse, Cabelas, Scheels all have a decent supply now. Some still limit the number of boxes you can buy to just 6 boxes.
