Hi David, I'm new to the forum to. But I think I can help you with some info. of places to fish in Oceanside. There is a boat launch at the O.C. harbour, there you can fish in the harbour, the jetty channel or the open ocean. For fresh water if you are military active or retirees there O'Neill Lake on Camp Pendleton Marine Base. Other wise the bigger lakes are inland 30 to 40 miles or more. The best place to get Info. on San Diego county fishing is SDFish on line....Hope this helps you out and good luck.....
