Welcome aboard Nordicv, speaking of sharing what is working for those strippers down there in SC $ 5, $ 10 or $ 20 these days?

Stripers up this way like shrimp and shrimp scent.

Blue back herring mostly live bait free lining and down rods with 1 to 2 oz snickers above a barrel swivel small as I can use tied to a 30” 20lb leader material I use 20 lb test on all my rods except two with 60lb braid witch works well with cloud cover live bait is the key . Don’t you have bunker up there and eels? And you fish the tide?

Haven't been out more than a few times since moving here last year. Most of my fishing was in NC for the past 16 years.

Didn't have much of a tide there no more than less that a foot. Shrimp was the go to bait. Friend of mine here likes the eels so might be giving that a try this year.

Tip for being the new guy here, hit the quote reply section when you reply to a post. Sometimes the reply will show up later and hard to follow who one is talking to.
