Caught my first keeper snook yesterday! 32" Fought like a muther! It was delicious too. Like halibut or cod.

Congratulations! That is a super snook. I have taken expensive trips to South and Central America just to catch snook and only caught one about a foot long!

Then my son and I were catching to bait just off shore at Jupiter, FL and something broke his Sabeki Rig. He tied on another and suggested I put on a live bait and see if I could catch whatever had broke his line. I did and caught a snook about the same size as you have pictured. Just Sayin...RJS

I assume Jupiter inlet, the home of many record fish.

That was my first keeper because the 41" fish was over the slot limit. You can only keep it in Florida if it's 28-33"
