I have a buddy who worked for the MN. DNR as a surveyor for 38 years. Due to retire in 3 weeks. He caught ice fishing on White Bear Lake while he was supposed to be working. He got fired, well,,,, there could have been a few other things along the line too. Anyway, he still got his full retirement, party, and the whole ball of wax. Hard to beat a government job.
