You brought some memories back, Steve. I was raised East of Los Angeles, and Dad took us to the fisherman's retreat many times. If I remember right, it's a group of about 5 or 6 lakes. It's been almost 70 years since then. I stopped by there about 10 or 12 years ago, and I was able to find the very spot where Dad taught my Brother and I how to fish for bluegill with worms under a bobber. After Dad got an outboard motor (a 12 HP Sea King), we started going to other lakes and rivers where we could rent a rowboat to clamp it on.
