Why is it 100% of all of my spam calls come from the state I just left 4 years ago? Oregon. Do they miss me so much they’re wanting me back or??? I don’t have an Oregon number any more and I get 6 to 10 spam calls a day from Oregon numbers. Does everybody have this same experience? Spammers from where they used to be? Kinda strange they ALL have a “number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service”.

Ain’t Oregon, it’s India using the last area code on their list for you trying to look like real local number…..get a bunch f**e/real number hacked from someone pretending to be Washington State….other night at 2:30 a.m. ….and not sure they miss either one of us politically incorrect UNWOKE folks…

My Apple phone does not ring unless I have entered the name and phone number in my list of folks I know. May make me to miss some calls, but I am willing to accept that.

Also, I don't think the spammers are from India. I have a problem with my HP printer and made over 20 calls trying to get it straight. All the people trying to help were out of the U.S. and not native English speakers. I had a hard time understanding them, from Central America, Guam, and so forth. It might be cheaper for the company, but I was usually left pissed at the lack of help, lack of being able to communicate, and such a waste of time. Just Sayin..RJS

Could be but I haven’t said one thing about Oregon that isn’t true. Lol. I have lots of friends who still live there and they love Oregon about as much as I do. They were born and raised there and are being forced to leave their home communities because the people moving in (California and further north) didn’t like where they were so they moved to Oregon and brought their crappy lifestyle and attitudes with them. Weaseled their way into leading roles and destroyed the state. You won’t hear that from the invaders but you sure will from native Oregonians. Ask anyone who loves Oregon and my money is on they moved there from California or Mexico. It’s just a sad fact in what, once, was an awesome state. Evolution is not always a good thing. 😉😎

RJ next time use the chat feature with company web sites. Might be foreigners, but at least they can type in English.

Face it Cat, Oregon has your # and they are controlling you. Put a block on your spam calls and enjoy life. You want to go out on your terms not because of stress.

I’ve tried that block but it don’t seem to work. My biggest issue is they leave a message that don’t say anything and it fills up my mail box. When someone important tries to call they can’t leave a message. I’m just wondering why they even do it if they won’t even leave a message. It don’t stress me out any it’s just a little annoying when my kids can’t even leave me a message.

Just set up your answering system to capture numbers. Caller ID only, no messages. You already know your friends numbers. It’s worked for me for years as the government No call list is as worthless as they are.

I get them from all over and they started leaving me voicemails. You are right most of the numbers are no longer in service

Got that right ! I want to talk to someone who speaks MY native language PROPERLY, without any foreign accents so that I can understand what the hell gibberish they're talking about and respond
to it 'properly' !

About 80% of my spam calls are
from N.H. as I still have my old number, and the rest are from
all over the country ! Sometimes
I forget to shut my phone off and
put it on the charger before bed, so I've been wakened several times as early as 6:30 AM (I seldom get up
before 8:30 unless I'm going fishing) ! You KNOW those A-holes are going
to get an earful of crap if I get up to answer it ! Now, as soon as I've hung up, I BLOCK that number and delete
it - it doesn't stop them completely, but I do get less calls !

The i***ts with the 'car warranties' (that I never signed up for) or the
'school loans' (that I never had) are the most frequent and the most annoying, so they get the harshest verbal treatment imaginable ! It
would probably turn a longshore-man's ears beet red !
