My wife worked for two major airlines back last century. I sorta enjoyed flying then and we made several trips to some great places even though we got bumped a lot since we were flying nonrev. She was laid off in ‘98. We still flew some for business and pleasure but after 9-11 it became too problematic. We take all road trips now and enjoy it. We take our road trips in the spring and fall after the summer crowds go back to doing their thing and very rarely have to stand in lines any more. We don’t miss flying at all.

I know several that do and they've had the virus more than once and have spread it around to their loved ones. Many of them vaccinated with negative reactions.
