Say, kiddies ! Today is March 20th,
the first day of spring ! Hope you
folks further north/northeast of
here start getting real spring weather soon !
Weather here has been fine, but
still waiting for 'ice-out' in the
North country and the 'Rim' lakes
to start trout fishing ! Although
there are trout stocked locally in
the 'natural' lakes and 'Community' lakes/ponds, trout fishing is always better up there than around here !
Two phrases come to mind this
time of year - C'MON, SPRING !
and THINK TROUT !
Yes, for all you folks up North, even in Canada! Please reel your cold, rainy, and miserable weather back up north or where ever it is stored! It has been here long enough and we are completely tired of having it around! Just Sayin...RJS

Snow here again today.
You're lucky you're already in the
Attic, using nasty four-letter words
like 'snow' - have even seen the appearance here of another nasty
(in some folks' opinion) four-letter word - 'WIFE' !
(I try to keep words like those out
of my mouth and banned from my vocabulary !)

We are in a severe drought condition so really don’t mind the wet 💩‘weather’🤪🤪
Yep ! The whole southwest is
hurting for rain - this drought goes back aways - pretty sure it started around the late-90s/early 2000s !
Several states, ARIZONA/NEVADA/ CALIFORNIA are looking at real problems soon if things don't
improve !
Lake Mead is over 135 feet below normal, Lake Powell is also at an
all-time low since it was first filled ! There's actually serious talk about water restrictions for the Colorado River for all three states !
Not the first time for long-term droughts in the southwest - historically, some droughts have lasted fifty years or more and have taken decades more to recover !
What did they call it back 50yrs ago oops climate. It wasn't c*****e c****e,was it??

Took that one (w0rk) out of my vocabulary. Honey do’s replaced it 😝😝. Now it’s just ‘fun times’ if you know what I mean.
Well, we all probably have 'good intentions' but enough is enough! You folks are much more accustomed to the cold and snow. Look at all those folks pretending to having a good time spending all day out on foot thick Ice, trying to catch fish through a hole drilled in the ice! Just Sayin...RJS

You're right, Frank ! I almost did
forget ! But then, I've been retired
for ten years ! All three (snow/wife/ work) are now just minuscule, near-microscopic dots, far-distant in the rear-view mirror, never to be seen
(or bothered by) again !

The weather is frightful. Looks like I will get some storms but nothing like the bull ride you cowboys are getting.
