We fished Lake Nacimiento today and we had a good day. We put 25 fish in the boat, most where were
small but it was fun!

It was cold and breeze and a little rain. We caught them on ned rigs with zman Hulla stick green pumpkin
and Zman California craw

Nice goin man. What was the water temp and what depth were y'all fishin in mostly?
Yesterday the water temp in Lake Sonoma was 56* to 60* and they were shallow, and all the way out to 18 feet or so. Water needs to warm up a little more for them to be consistent.

It was colder than heck! Water temp 59* to 61* we caught them from the bank to 20'. IN 2019 we caught
so many we lost count. We are still trying to do that again!!!!

Fred it felt like I was were you are!! I missed judged the weather this time. We have friends that have
a house at this lake and it always hot here except this week end. I new the weather was not going to be good
but i did not bring the right clothes. Bad Me!!!

Exact same conditions as Sonoma yesterday. Water not quite warm enough and the fish weren't concentrated yet.
Goin back out on Sonoma on Tuesday with Old Jim. He's been out of commission for awhile from eye surgery. I believe this might even be his first trip out fishin this year. He turns 96 this year. Suppose to be in the low 80s on Tuesday. Maybe the fish will have moved up in the shallows and we can find em better.

Can't trust the weather. When I'm away from home I carry wool and my rain suit. Wool under that suit you're wearing should do it almost anywhere. Check out Asbell Wool. A good assortment of wool garments. I like them.
