What a beautiful Black Sea Bass. I hope your wish comes true
Nice fish but I'm pessimistic about gass prices going down between the war in Ukraine and the closing of 100,000 American oil wells by executive order. The infrastructure bill giving 80 billion dollars to the rail system plus our annual spending to subsidize the rail system. 1.5 billion dollars look it up. Rail charges over$8.00/barrel vs $4.00/ barrel in a pipe line. Now the Canadian rail strike to add to fuel prices.

Which executive order was that? Biden shut down the Keystone XL permit with an executive order, I'll give you that. But I can't find any record of one that shuts down operation of any existing wells. Prove me wrong?

I didn’t want this thread to be political just venting about the price of gas.
However, declaring war on f****l f**ls (in the campaign and in office) cancelling keystone xl, canceling ANWR (~10 billion plus barrels of oil) certainly doesn’t help domestic oil production.
Some people believe the President doesn’t influence gas prices, I’d wager if Trump gets re-elected (or person with similar values) the gas prices would drop quickly.
If OPEC thinks we not gonna buy theirs and drill more of our own, they’ll drop their prices to flood the market. Supply and demand. Too much oil in the market to hope out companies don’t want to spend all the money to produce cheap oil.
The way it is now, why would oil companies risk their time and money to get permits/ leases when they know the govn’t certainly isn’t going to make costs and timelines low.
Besides all that, the US oil is cleaner and better for the environment.
Anyway… thank god I have an electric trolling motor just trying to do my part haha

I think the order added no more leases or exploration on federal lands. Don't believe it stopped existing wells. I do get myself in trouble when I think tough.
Did you know that Stargazers can give a mild electric shock?
I was quite shocked (no pun) when I landed that ugly mug!! I’m pretty sure it’s a Monk fish though…. I heard they’re good eating but that one got released quickly!!
Edit to read I just read monk and stargazer are the same thing my bad!
