Check this out guys an gals. Now that is a big CAT lol. They didn't give the location they caught it an released it back in the same place 👍

That’s probably the best thing for that fish. I sure wouldn’t want to eat one that size

It would be a waste of a fish for sure Slim. It wouldn’t taste good and most of it would be thrown away. IMHO

Says it came out of the Ohio River and Augusta is Augusta, KY. We have blue cats like that one down in some of the lakes around San Diego. Somebody caught one a year or so ago that went over 100 pounds. I've caught some big ones down there, but nothing like that. 35, 40 pounds or so has been my max. They can fight you really really well for about an hour or so, then they tend to wear out. Me too.

What pound test do you think you would have to use. I believe my ultra lite wouldn't hold her. LOL

I 2nd that statement brother, The 100lbs flathead I caught went back into the river to make more babies too..gimme 10lbs channels for eating much better.

When I used to fish for cats I used 50 pound Fireline with a 80 or 100 pound Dacron leader. That would get that brute in.

When I was fishing for really big cats, I used a stringer and cutoffs. Yes, the statute of limitations has passed, and so has my youth. I would love to get 10 pound plus cats on a rod and reel. I am truly jealous.
