It is Tiiiimme.
Early juvenile males are a dime a dozen on EWG worm hook weightless Senkos (pumpkin) or finesse drop shots (Aaron's Classic or maybe something purple)
Next 5-weeks to be killler.
Awaiting the mamas.
These all from shore this last week or so.

Looks like a fun time out fishing! Keep catching them! Good luck and be safe!!
You should be getting trout in lake Dixon this time of year, then when the water warms up they should be planting catfish.

You don’t need a fishing license just a daily fishing permit. $5 if I remember correctly.
Free parking for us season citizens.
Tonight, from shore, EWG weightless Senko (as usual).
Smiling just for y'all.
It's the shoreline dance after fish release that best captures my fishing head space. I don't think you want to see that video.
Twitch my plastics to background reggae music; try it sometime.
Lake Dixon fisher folks, I'm recommending go every day or evening for the next 5-weeks. It is coming alive. Do not miss the opportunity. Little skill required if you're throwing the 2 iconic rigs. Skip Saturdays and Sundays.
I use 10# test line.

That's a beauty Stephen. It looks like they're coming to play, and you have their number. That's my favorite presentation as well, simple, weedless, and easy to change colors if needed. Thanks for the picture.
Dixon Lake tonight.
I fish from shore for not much more then 90-minutes starting at about 4:30PM.
This, my first on an Aaron's Magic color RoboWorm finesse drop shot; all others on 5" EWG weightless pumpkinish Senkos.
San Diego County fisher folks, come on down to Dixon Lake.
It's only getting better.
Working on that smile thing.

Thanks all for your comments.
Tonight, dropped-shotted 5.5" RoboWorm Aaron's Classic color.
I only fish for an hour plus a little.
If you're in the area, come to Dixon Lake.
It's pretty easy right now.
