Got notification from SmartNews that senate had reached an anonymous agreement to keep daylight savings time permanently. The 2 parties agreed on something for a change. Now for the House & Biden to agree will really be something. I have never heard anyone say that they liked the time changes.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Right on RJS, only time I care about is for my doctor’s appointments.

It will sure make a difference in Deer Hunting here in Texas as far as the h****rs go. They won’t be able to hunt as the sun rises but they can hunt later in the day. I think it will be a big change in our hunting in general, if it flies.

I don't understand Hack. How can it possibly make a difference what time the sun rises? Them deer know nothing of clocks. Time of day is an artificial construct and it matters not to fish and fowl. And deers.

Up in the Hill country and South Texas it probably won’t make much difference. But where I used to deer hunt they came to feed just as the sun was coming up which means it will be later now. It’s probably not that big of a deal and they don’t care about the time, that’s true. I probably shouldn’t have written anything about it. It’s an adjustment the h****rs will have to make. If I still hunted, it would feel weird hunting past six PM. It’s usually dark by then.

We’ll adjust Hack, it is just a number…the amount of daylight hours won’t change.

From what I read it needs the House to agree and pres to approve it. Won’t take affect until 2023 if it makes it. Most people I have talked to don’t care which time is made permanent as long as it stays the same.
