It’s been a long winter and it felt so good to be back out there! After switching baits about ten times, I was rewarded with this beauty. Almost 3lbs, caught her on a Texas rigged blue-black power worm. Woohoo, I’m so happy to be able to fish again! 😁🎣🥳

Used to be a farm pond, but there’s a subdivision there now. Still some woods and an open field around it. Easy access. 😁

Nice first fish of the year! I am waiting patiently for ice to even start melting! I am beginning to feel like I am the only one left with hard water😎
