Welcome 52. Glad to have another Okie on the forum. I've been down highway 9 pass Thunderbird many, many times but have never wet a hook there. I get the Oklahoma Wildlife fishing reports & Thunderbird has some great fishing. Good luck & tight lines.

Welcome Sal52. Have not fished Thunderbird. I am in northeast Oklahoma and fish almost exclusively on Grand Lake. Fishing for LM has not been good for me so far this winter/spring. Have been using mostly senkos and fishing slow and will occasionally pick up a fish. Will get much better very soon as water temps rise. Currently we are in the upper 30's to low 40's depending on where you are on the lake. Good luck!
