Has any fished Taylorville Lake for Crappie?
I don't have any info for your area down there but I do know that the water temps are still pretty cold as the ice has only been off our local ponds for just over a week. The crappie usually start pretty good when the water temps are 50-55° but if you are trying I would try some live minnows under a bobber if you are fishing from shore and if you are using a boat, try small jigs and twister tail grubs, trying different colors until you find what colors are working. Here are some pics of what I use.
Good luck and post those pics for us to see.
