The oldest antique in this post is me at 72, next is the 50 year old St Croix 4’6” XXL spinning rod, followed by the 50 yr old Garcia Mitchell 408, and finally a delicious 1-1/2# rainbow trout(don’t know its age!)with a new Red Rooster Tail in its mouth. The trout have been stocked in 3 local ponds + several statewide ponds. …Papa Dog

Great post. At 62 all my gear is old. Love it like when I bought it. My kids say it's just old pop. It's ok to get a new one. Catching a fat trout on your favorite gear, that's the magic. Nice outfit.

Papa the reel looks good for 50 the rod looks like it's caught it's share of fish. The fish looks good for whatever age n welcome to the old boys section of the site 👍👍. Alot of well age fishermen here🎣
