I saw a Sasquatch Crossing sign this morning. I din't have my phone with me or I would have snapped a pic. (Which I guess that means the sign didn't exist!)

Still it begs the question, if such an animal doesn't exist, then why would they put up a crossing sign?
Nah, you don't reckon the parks and wildlife Dept. was just foolin' with folks do ya?
Can't Be true.

To me, the jury's still out on that
one ! Neither believe/dis-believe,
just need to see it proven or dis-proven beyond a doubt ! Since the Sasquatch legends go WAY, WAY
back in Native American folklore/
legends/mythology, it is very
difficult to dismiss the possibility
of its' existence out of hand !

Don't know which is older, Sasquatch or Windigo, but both go way way back. As do fairies and trolls. And my point is?

Armadillos can run when they WANT to, tried catching one in Florida years ago when I was much faster on my feet !
key word was TRIED , had to check behind me to see if I had left my anchor out ! I was about 100 feet ahead of the car and the damn thing was disappearing down the road out of reach of the headlights !

whoever posted the craw-catfish !

Here's one who's reputation and/or legend goes WAY back to the Civil
War - the Vermont Beaver Trout !

They say it only grows fur in the very deep, cold northern lakes along the Canadian border - stories about this legendary trout go all the way back
to the early Civil War, and this was
an article printed about it in 1927, nearly a hundred years ago ! This
one was supposedly caught out of Lake Memphremagog, right on the Canadian border with Vermont !

Looks like s**mmers and/or funny taxidermists (or both ?) have been around for quite a while !
I see we've got a few other br comedians on this ... (show quote)

A beaver that smells like a fish ? Or a fish that looks like a beaver ?

A trout with a beaver pelt - damn lake water gets pretty cold that deep and that far north - they need that extra insulation !

A beaver that smells like a fish ?
Are you referring to my 'ex' ?

You may be right ! Although I don't
specifically remember it, it's very
likely that they would have
something like that - pretty sure
they've had a 'jackalope' or two in
the past, as well ! They always
were my favorite 'toy' store !
Probably 60% (or more) of my
guns were purchased there !
