Only went to Wisconsin once, now that place IS cold . Don't remember how to spell it, but was in FonDuLac ( ?) in January, in January, 1970. Fishing was great after drilling thru all that ice. Never had seen that in my native Connecticut, don't know how you folks can take it. No wonder there's Grumpy Old Men there !

Thanks for the note ! Yup, gets cold here but I'm used to it. Fishing all throughout the state is great.
We have 15000 lakes to choose from. I primarily fish the wisconsin River.
Has a lot of fish of all kinds. I go for bass, walleye and northern pike.
You need to come here in the warmer months and enjoy all we have. I know you would love it. Especially in the northern half of the state.
