Hey guys. Just a few questions bout the California Meet & Greet.

Where do we want to have it? Tullock Lake has been suggested, any other preferences?
Do you have a preference to the weekend or during the week?
How many days do we want to get together? One day, two days or more?
When do you want it to be? April or May?
If we had it more than 1 day, would you get a motel or camp?
Would there be anybody that came that didn't want to fish OR that DIDN"T want to be in a boat? ie, shore fishermen.
Do we want to try and have a meal to share and visit or just fish and visit awhile afterwards?

These are just a few questions that we need to decide.
So far I have 29 people that want to get together and 9 of us have boats.
Lake Tullock is a little under 2 hours South of Sacramento and bout 1 hour East of Stockton.
Would more people rather have it closer to Sacramento, or does it matter that much?

ALL the 29 people should PM me so we can try to figger out the answer to some of these questions.
Thanks guys. I appreciate your feedback. IT'S IMPORTANT. Look forward to hearin from y'all.

Regarding the fish, Tullock has the larger trout. There are camp grounds and small cabins to rent on the water at the south shore.

I'm tied up for the first week of April, but wide open after that.

Lakes operated by the state are a lot more expensive for parking/boat launch/camping. Those operated by the corps of engineers are far more reasonable. The only one I found between Sacramento and Modesto is New Hogan. It's in the same general area as Tulloch, but I've never been there and don't know what it's like. Anyone have any description? The corps website says it has boat launch, camping, and fishing facilities, but no marina. This is just an alternative, I'm good for wherever.

I'm retired, so weekends and weekdays are all the same to me. There'll be less people on weekdays, but I don't want to exclude any working stagers.

I think I'd be up for a one-day. I'd get there fairly early and leave fairly late. I'll bring my boat.

I think it'll be simpler if we bring our own grub and meet in a picnic area.

Tulloch lake is not the bad of a launch fee and it is a nice ramp.
