Saw this little fellow fishing in Indian Creek last week at Pickwick…..almost all albino except for brown patch on lower back. This river Otter is pretty smart to survive with out his natural color for protection.

Nice capture Jbn, I've never see any but normally colored ones. Thanks for the picture.

Great Picture. The only otters I've ever seen in the wild were King Otters in the Negro River in Brazil. They were much larger, and rise up out of the water to watch us, and it looked like they were out of the water about three feet, and were almost five fee long overall. They would swim ahead of us keeping about thirty yards or so distance. Just Sayin...RJS

An excellent picture. Good catch. We've seen otters here, run off a good school. Never seen a white one. Seen what might have been a weasel, not sure. Low and long. Pacing us on the bank while we were trolling downstream on a flood tide.

Cool looking critter, I’ve seen a few river otters through the years but non colorful as that one. Thanks for sharing Jbn!

Nice pic. I've seen a few but never any odd colored one. Don't see as many as I did before. Use to see quite a few beaver also. Not many of those either. 👍👍

Very cool Jbn. Their makin a come back on the muskingum river. we saw one last fall at my river lot

I've also seen some pretty biggins out in the boonies in Maine not big as big as 5ft but bigger than 3
