Hi. I'm new to the stage. Been following for a few weeks but this is my first post. I live in the mountains of NC in Pisgah Forest. I mostly bass fish in SC on lakes Keowee and Hartwell. I'm 72 and sort of lacking in the technology department. I have a Lowrance Hook 2 and do fine with sonar and the basics related to that feature. I just can't seem to understand the GPS/mapping part. I can mark waypoints and see the trails. Just can't figure out how to navigate back to the waypoints with my boat showing up on the screen. Would like to mark a boat landing on a new lake, then be able to navigate back. I have watched several YouTube videos, but they basically just touch on the subject for my model fish finder. Anyone know of a good tutorial for this subject that is simple and easy to understand? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Have a great day and good fishing to everyone. Seesalt

Hi Seesalt , I have a Hook² as well. I don't use my navigation too much, but if you look at your trail, the arrowhead at the end of your trail is your boat. When you turn around to head back, just aim the arrowhead back to where you want to go.

Thanks FredFish. Mine is only a 5 inch screen. Maybe I need to use the zoom feature to see th arrowhead.

That will definitely help Seesalt, I have a 9", and whenever I do use the navigation, I put it on 1/2 the screen, and zoom as needed. Good luck!
