The Ranger 390V with the 200hp Mercury is the best combination I've owned. It handles super and will get up and go when you need it.

I am jealous, my boat is a ,1988 western make by Fred ward in phx az gamble type hull. Less than 300 made, 20 ft 4 ins 200hp Merc. Rides rough and is heavy in the back . My son had ranger with a racing 2.4 Merc 80 mph

Last year at Chatauqua Lake, NY was very happy to find out that could run at about 50mph and handle any waves and not get wet. Did max it out at 65mph at 6000rpm and was just as comfortable and still dry.
