Caught a few little guys yesterday Tight Lining, caught 4 in 6 casts and then this. Fought this guy for around 10 minutes or so before I got it in the boat. Quite the tug on 4 pound test and that long tight line rod. Made my wrist sore so I called it an early day.

Way to go Ivey. On 4# test, that would be a task, but fun.

I just knew that guy would break me off before I could get it in the boat, had it lip hooked so the line didn't get frayed by it's teeth. That's a salt water stripe too so the first two runs were like I hooked up to a submarine, had my drag screaming.

Oh yea I caught a blue gill on that rig yesterday too, Don't know what it was thinking the bait was almost as long as the blue gill.

Nice fish, that striper on 4# must have been an absolute blast. Did that smallie come from Notre Dame?

Those gills are like Jack Russel terriors. They have by attitude in a small package. Caught a few last year on crank baits . The crank was as big as the fish!
