I am considering warmer climes and South Carolina is supposed to be a tax-friendly state. While I prefer the coast so I can fish the salt and go crabbing, the cultural amenities of a city like Charleston are also nice. Lake Marion isn't too far from Charleston. Are any of you familiar with that lake, the fishing and water quality, communities on the lake or the like and can you tell me about it? - Thanks in advance!
Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie are probably some of the best fresh water lakes in the USA. Large mouth bass, striped bass, crappy, sunfish and catfish they hold lots of records on these fish. Both lakes are connected together by a canal. Great fishing
SC is a wonderful state. Good hunting and fishing. We welcome new people.....as long as they don't try to change things so they are like wherever they are trying to escape from!
