If you could take only one rod wading little creeks for smallmouth, what would it be?

I am torn, because I like both the Ned and little crank baits like rebel craws and bandits. As you know, you cannot throw crank baits with an extra fast tip. I’m leaning toward the Ned setup, a 6’3” MLXF walleye tournament but it sort of sucks to not be able to have both options.

I have a 6 ft G Loomis Bronzeback med X Fast with a 2500 size Shimano Stradic Ci4 that I bought specifically for stream fishing.
Very versitile set up.
Also important to note , this is also my go to jerkbait rod.
Loads up perfectly with pointers and megabass vision 110s.
And the short length allows for straight down snaps.

When wading small creeks I use a 5 foot ultra light. I carry a small Fanny pack with select tackle. I use small spinners and small crank baits.

I don't get it. Use what ya got. Confidence and desire wins. Been outfished by beginners that didn't know it was supposed to be hard.
