Remember the testers are NOT your friends, they are more like an HR Dept. I learned that the hard way.
Like when they did my hearing test on the low stuff, I was told to guess what the words were. Not right, IMO
They are also going to change the Sleep Apnia now, so I might be able to get an increase my disability.

Good Morning digger,, for Sleep Apnea ? I've been on C-pap for 16 years, haven't looked at my Military.Com e-mails for a few weeks, hope you have a good weekend,,👍

Years ago the VA was totally different, in my opinion, than it is now. I use the Community Care that's available nowdays & go to Dr's or specialists outside the VA. My prostate surgery, knee replacement & now my eye surgery were all done in places of my choice. My sleep apnea test was also done outside VA but VA gave me a c-pap nachine & keeps me in supplies. I also have a good set of VA hearing aids , Bluetooth & everything. I also get 2 new pair of eyeglasses every 2 years. My fishing buddy is also a vet. & he gave up trying to get benefits. I just don't understand what I do that he didn't do.

Had two friends both very well off. One guy had everything picked up by the VA the other guy was told he had too much income. Both applied at the Palm Beach Florida VA center. Go figure.

Doesn't make Sense. VA doesn't ask for Salary, that I remember. SSA Does, not VA.

It sure did in Oregon. I lost all of my military medical benefits in 2009 in Oregon because I made too much money. It was right on the paperwork at the VA outpatient center in Bend Oregon.i know people who served the same time I did who are receiving a disability and I couldn’t even go see a VA doctor because I was successful and responsible enough to take care of myself financially. It’s not a fair system what so ever.
