It got a little warm yesterday while hard water fishing. 20 inches of ice, but the soft top layer was melting fast.

Depending on over night temps, there's still several day of fish still ahead. Going to need rubber boots.

Plenty of good black ice left. Everything froze back up last night.

Yup, froze up last night. Rubber boots are always available. Will probably need snowshoes this weekend.

It might be creepy, or scary for some, but we love it. On warm days like this, fishing is usually active, surroundings are beautiful and quiet, just a nice day to be out. Mud season isn't far off in snow country, so have to take advantage of days like this.
