Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while and finally pulled the trigger to post. Thanks to all the helpful folks on this site.
I'm a recent transplant from Chicago area to Seattle (due to the cutest granddaughter ever!)
I'm learning saltwater techniques and am also surprised at the difference in the biomass between the Midwest rivers and the West Coast rivers. The West Coast rivers near me seem to me like a highway that the salmon and trout only use from time-to-time whereas the Midwest river fish are homebodies and have more species.
I'm going to keep trying to solve the puzzle.
