returning to hat creek for the umpteenth time in early may. . . fishing was pretty good last october, but curious how the fires, etc. may have affected water conditions, planting schedules, etc. one thing is constant: the food at JJs Cafe . . .

No worries. Happens all the time. We have a “Hat Creek” right across the river from us here in Idaho and I would imagine there are many. Just a learning curve here. 😉

I have a friend with cabin(s) on land in Shingletown---- is JJ's in the same small group of businesses near the Italian restaurant past the old "Uncle Runts"??
right across the street from uncle runt's, next to the gas station . . .usually stop for supplies at a store in shingletown on my way to old station . . . usually stay at hat creek resort . . . been coming to hat creek for a long, long time . . . really great food, gret people at JJs . . .
Thanks for the info--- heading up next week to check on the cabins--- had a burglary attempt 2 months ago-- caught them on camera--- in custody!! Probably will hit Nora Lake and Baum as well!!
