topcop35: Well, I don't know where you are on the TX/Ok border. I, too was raised within a mile of Red River in Cooke Co. Tx. If you are close to Texoma, that is a super lake with lots of water and all manner of fish. Sand bass and Striped bass galore, catfish, Black Bass, it is all up to you.

Topcop35: Well, you are living in the town and county seat of the county where I was born. I have lived in Gainesville when I finished my Air Force tour. Bomber Bait Co. was established there with Ike Walker and Clarence Turberville.
I was a partner with Dick Wallace and help start North Texas Marine, now with Joe Wallace in charge. I have a lot of ties and memories of Gainesville. You might try fishing Lake Kiowa. Just Sayin...RJS
