We’ve been ice fishing since Jan 12th but still waiting for the big bass to come out - the biggest has been 2.9 lbs. We’ve got 10 inches of ice even after a couple of 50 degree days last week.
But yesterday I did catch this big 25 inch 4.3 lb pickerel and here a few of the bass catches.
AWESOME RED. I’m going to get my mass. License

That’s awesome. Our bass must go under the mud in the winter here.lol we catch lots of them in the summer where we ice fish but never catch one through the ice. A big bass here is 4 pounds.
Nice pics looks great. 👍👍
Terrific assortment of fish there red! Way to go!

Hey Billy
Parking can be tough on Boon.
There are 2 public spots on Sudbury Rd
1. pine bluffs/town beach - but I’ve only fished that area once & didn’t catch anything.
2. Public boat launch - from there, people walk to the 4th & 3rd basins or a longer hike to the 2nd basin.
All other parking is at private properties and there are always battles going on between the residents and those looking for lake access. Some areas can get very crowded on the weekends 🤭
If you want to talk, send me your #.

Really nice Pickerel A, along with bass and perch. That much ice should take you forward for a good amount of time on the ice.
Nice pictures and fish!!!
