I have no maggots, no worms basically no live bait and i was thinking maybe dough balls would work for float fishing? The fish here are rudd, european perch, roach pretty much all these basic fish (no bluegill or stuff like that, im in Lithuania). Lmk if you have tried this bait for these fish. I would use a float.

yeah and some garlic paste in the center and some thick oil. Tuna oil is best but even thick olive oil will do. They love oily stuffs
Any posts on this subject are welcome. I have never fished in Europe or the U.K. and would be interested in info from there.
