Mike if i could help you i sure would but i am about 2K miles from you. But do have one suggestion if the replies aren't to your liking.
Do another post that says what you are looking for in the topic. Some guys see just Kayak fishing and move on.
I would post " looking for kayak launch sites in Galveston ". That way boaters as well may chime in.

There is an app called GO Paddling, it lists all of the launch sites in the country. It also lists amenities if they are available, I highly recommend this app.
