I'm retired and hope to get active fishing. I don't have a boat currently, so need to fish from the bank. Can anyone lead me to a good place in the Fayetteville area of NC. It's been a few years since I did much fishing and I have noticed several line colors now. What is the best color for fresh water. THANKS, Richard

Welcome to the Forum, Richard, So, You have to come on with a question like that? MHO, always use a fluorocarbon leader and it doesn't matter what color of the line you use. Good luck.

Flyguy nailed it Richard. A year ago i moved away from the Belhaven area, but 100% salt water fishing over there. A light green braid was my go to with a 3' fluro.

Can't help you on fresh spots, but if you ever venture east let me know.

Welcome Richard. Glad you've joined the forum & I hope you enjoy. I see you're outside FT Bragg & I have fished there but I can't be any help for where you can fish. Good luck & tight lines.

Thick skin? They remove it when young. You could call him Junior or Little…..
