I’ve been using brightly colored line on one rod and moss green on another yet don’t seem to catch as many fish on the colorful line, could the line be the issue?

Fished with my son for bass. I caught 2 bass and he caught approx 35. We were using the same bait, tx rigged craws, green pumpkin color. He was using smoke green suffix line and I was using hi vis yellow. I am not using the hi vis any longer and the catch numbers are much closer to even. I do think it matters. Good luck.

Take a Magic Marker to 3 or 4 foot of the line above your lure and you will not have any problem with fish seeing your line but you still can. My buddy has 6 ft of Floro for a leader in the front of the boat and I match him fish for fish from the back, no problem !
