I went there today we got there about 1:30 there was lots of parking we had our tickets already so we didn’t have to stand in long lines to get in. You must show proof of
Vaccination and booster to get in Not many people had their mask 😷 on
There was not as much as they did when it was here last and one building was closed
We bought a few things. I bought a fishing
Knife from Cutco And some Bar-B-Q sauce and some garlic rubs the show was good
just not as big

The Hoe and the sol doc rivers but I have
two charters booked one on the 6th and the 13th for Steel Head on the Cowlits River
I will take pictures and give reports

Hey, Ed. I was there today too. From about 1:00-3:00. I was kinda disappointed with it being smaller than it used to be. Probably had something to do with Covid. Although I got a really good deal on a Kokanee bait caster…🐟on

I’m ok. I’m glad you have trips set up. I’m itching to go to the Ocean for a charter. I love the big Lingcod that are common right now.
My Neighbor John Ball would of been at that show if he had gotten vaccinated. He was a fishing guide “Gimme A Go Fishing Adventures “
He died about month and half ago. Told people at church and my neighbors here will not get any shots. He always got clients at the Sportman show you went to and the one here in PDX.

Yeah, I was looking at those 60/70/$80,000 Hewes boats. But I can catch just as many fish in my old StarCraft. And it’s already set up with all the accessories…

I agree DD. New boats would obviously be nice but if you have a good setup especially that works well it’s silly to go get another one.

No, not really. It’s just a 2 1/4” diameter. It’s a Tica KT 101 Kokanee Special. I’ve got 4 of them on 4 different Kokanee rods. That way I can set up 4 different rigs without having to retie…🐟on

Yes I looked at them also but I’m going to be 72 in July do i really need one of those boats? I have my 14 ft north wood i just bought a new trolling motor with foot control bow mounted I think I’m good with what i have. I can charter a trip and still have a good day

Yeah, that’s a lot of money to spend on a boat. Unless you can use it on a daily basis. It looks like your little boat will git-r-done…🐟on
