All the tournament pros have one on the bow, for what it's worth.

Fred I think some tournaments have outlawed them now. Supposedly they work. I read one article that said don't over do it. Just enough to stir en up. Guessing it works better if you find a school. 🤔

They have a couple different models too Grizz. Regular and KVD models for bass, and a Wally Marshall "Mr Crappie" model for them.
I always see on on Zona's boat, and on the MLF guys boats.

I guess if you're fishing for money they're worth the money. No problem for those boys 👍

That's kinda crazy. It's doesn't surprise me though. Some states outlaw some weird things. I saw a fishing show recently where state reg for Alabama rig was one hook. Surprised they don't outlaw multiple hooks on crankbaits 👍

The regulations do not care what or how lures are set up when you buy them. It’s the anglers responsibility to know the local regs.

Oh I know MD allows only 3 hooks on a-rig. I remember back when pros started putting 2 or three together. I think everyone outlawed those. I read the book every yr for PA n MD. I know didn't read it this yr isn't a defense.

When in doubt, call your Dept of Natural Resources, Game, Fish and Parks, etc. and ask. They may give you their interpretation of the subject. Hopefully it matches the Warden or Conservation Officer’s.
Ignorance of the law is no excuse!

Hi Oj. If they wouldn't try to talk like a lawyer n just print it in simple English we may be able to understand it. Regulations change frequently. I get two books ea yr. I keep one at home n one in tackle bag. At times it's hard to get them to answer a question. They instruct you to read book or go on line. Don't think they fully understand the here to's n there fore's either. 🤔

Oregon does that too. “Single no longer than such and such” but three treble hooks is ok on a different type of lure. I guess they think a fish will take one hook and avoid another🤷‍♂️
