So we listed our favorites to pursue. So how about a specie you have not caught and would want to. Sort of a "bucket List" for fish. Mine would be tarpon as #1, and probably peacock bass as #2. So what is your fish bucket list?

I'd agree with Tarpon as #2, and a Billfish as #1. I'm not picky, could be Sailfish, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, or even Swordfish.

I'd be happy with a 40" musky. If we're gonna go crazy I'd say a Goliath Grouper.

CaptJIM; I have to agree, Tarpon and Peacock Bass. They were the top fish on my bucket list and I've completed that list. Also, Striped Marlin are good jumpers. If you aren't thrilled by the jumps of a Tarpon, you can't be thrilled in my opinion. When a 60 to 100 lb fish jumps higher than your head when you are standing up in the boat, that will get your heart pumping. Just Sayin...RJS

Guess I'm satisfied catching Smallmouth Bass, caught lots of other spices but nothing like tricking a big old brown fish.

Fished for a lot of different species in a lot of different places but I think small mouth are just about the most fun you can have. Pound for pound they are one of the most fighting fish you can catch
