Hi. I'm Todd, new to the forum and looking forward to making good use of it. Is anybody willing to share what the perch are biting on and at what depth they're located? I'm not looking to encroach on anybody's honey holes, just new to the lake for ice fishing and looking for a tip or two. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I cannot help you freeze your buns off. That will have to be left to others. If I were you, I would Google a map of the lake you are thinking about fishing on, look for a likely spot with some depth, and maybe structure, then cut my hole in the ice over that spot. There you can truly be fishing. Now for catching, that is a different story. Good luck, tight lines, and post your pictures. Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome to the Forum, todd. I'm guessing, but are you talking about Lake Winnebago over by Oshkosh, WI. You have better help us out and go back to your profile page and fill in the location.

At first I thought you meant you had a Special Motorhome set up for ice fishing. It makes sense though that your talking about the location. The guys suggesting putting location are helping you out. More people will transpond with you if it’s in there.
