Nope, but it sets in the garage when not in use. I never have, but they have been always had an Aluminum hull too.

I give my aluminum boat a good scrubbing, and a compound + wax job once a year. Usually wait till the weather is warmer, like the beginning of summer. If I'm gonna get soaked from the backsplash, I'd rather do it on an 80°day.

Just like pressure washing the house deck. Right day right temp.

Absolutely Plum. It's still a chore, but no sense being uncomfortable doing it.

wax my boat? that would be never. I take it to one of those self serve car wash on my way home from using it salt water and give it a good spraying off and then at the end of the year scrub in down to get off most of the blood and guts from the season and that is about it.

I wash my Lund nearly every trip. Couple times a year I’ll hit it with Meguires spray on ceramic.
I find the scum line comes off easier after waxing.

I had to use spray called ( Iron Out ) to remove the scum line each trip. Waxing mostly semi yearly.

I've heard several options on waxing. One being when boat hair got too long. I've read article that say never wax the bottom it causes drag 🤔. Another advised not use pressure washer on fiberglass. I used paste wax on glass boat now it the spray on type. As for washing I wash my tracker after every trip n flush the jet. 👍

a good waxwork in the bottom of your fiberglass boat gives you 3 or 4 miles/hour more and a little less gas consumption than at the end of a long day fishing is a good thing

Right on Ben. Every time I return from the lake she gets a wash. Then back into the garage. Normally hit it with a good uv cleaner two times a year. I believe to take care of what you have, to expensive to replace and if you plan on selling it you know You can get top dollar depending on its condition. I’ve seen boats at the ramp and can tell how some rigs have been taken care of. I get comments on my rig quiet a bit and keeping it in top shape is worth the effort.

Do you also run fresh water thru the motor?

is it not a bad idea to run fresh water thru the motor, mud when dry up inside the engine act like bad cholesterol in your veins, and that is no good

yes every time I come back from using it in the salt water and every once in a while I run the salt be gone or something like that through it as well. by the way I have a 16' tracer aluminum boat so I see no real purpose in waxing it maybe fiberglass needs it for protection I don't know about that.
